My work explores spatial design, installation art and set design. I am constantly influenced by my culture and heritage and always find myself looking back to my Lebanese roots for inspiration. The Apple Garden installation was used in Zeynep Satik’s film, Seven Deadly Scissors, as the set for one of the scenes. It explores the ironic themes associated with contradiction, deception, and the fine line between fantasy and reality. Additionally, I designed and curated the final year Performance Design and Practice exhibition, aiming to create a spacious environment where each of the many different mediums and contents of worked could be viewed in a specific context.
