Edward Japp

I'm A young director/DOP very interested in experimental cinema. I've been working in film for the passed 5 years making short films and promo videos. Before that I worked in the Westend for two theatre Producers- Julian Stoneman (Rock of Ages, Mama Mia...) and Jed Bernstein who produced "Driving Miss Daisy" with Vanessa Redgrave and James Earl Jones.

My film evokes T.S. Eliot’s poem ”The Waste Land”, in which the Fisher King of Arthurian legend - the last in a long line charged with keeping the Holy Grail – is impotent, affecting the fertility of the land and reducing it to a polluted and barren terrain, devastated by war and pestilence and powered by antiquated machinery. The whole film consists of miniatures and models nothing was bought or pre-assembled.
