As an aspiring Production Designer, Ella creates exciting and interactive events to generate memorable experiences for a wide and varied audience. She is inspired by work that brings art and performance to the public unexpectedly and in non-traditional theatre environments. Her practice is embedded in community Arts projects and festival visual design.
Themes of connectivity, cartography and personal geographies find themselves manifested in her work. She aims to find new ways to share individual perspectives through dynamic projects that can build and bring together communities.

Open Stages at the Royal Albert Hall
A collaboration within the Royal Albert Halls' Education and Outreach program.
In response to the themes of Puccini's Madam Butterfly, I created an installation whereby I performed and 'mapped out' the audience's answers to the question, where do you feel most at home? My map was built up on caged storage containers in the basement of the Hall.
In a continuation of the project, I created a shadow circus with puppetry and projection in a backstage bar of the Hall. This installation emerged from the stories and relationships made with an elderly group from Kilburn over a series of artistic workshops.
