Open Stages at the Royal Albert Hall

A collaboration within the Royal Albert Halls' Education and Outreach program.

In response to the themes of Puccini's Madam Butterfly, I created an installation whereby I performed and 'mapped out' the audience's answers to the question, where do you feel most at home? My map was built up on caged storage containers in the basement of the Hall.

In a continuation of the project, I created a shadow circus with puppetry and projection in a backstage bar of the Hall. This installation emerged from the stories and relationships made with an elderly group from Kilburn over a series of artistic workshops.
